The Bozzini Quartet finalist at the 28th Grand Prix 2012 of the Montréal Arts Council

Bozzini Quartet is honored to be among the finalists for the 28th annual Grand Prix of the Montréal Arts Council. In the Council’s choice, announced this past January, the Quartet was noted for the ‘audacity of its artistic direction, as well as its commitment to new music’. This local recognition comes on the heels of a period of unprecedented international activity, spanning three continents. Bozzini Quartet is most appreciative of this honor from the public “We are grateful that the Montréal Arts Council has recognized our efforts. It is a testament to the vitality of Montréal’s cultural environment of which we are a product, and we feel enheartened in return to continue to contribute to keep Montréal one of the most creative cities in the world. Being recognized at home stirs our pride in our origins, and propels us to continue to act as ambassadors from Montréal and it’s creative scene on stages around the world.

The winner of this year’s Grand prix will be announced March 19, 2013, at the annual Montréal Arts Council breakfast at the Sheraton hotel. Bozzini Quartet would like to congratulate all the finalists for this year’s Grand prix.
