Quatuor Bozzini marks its first visit to the Wigmore Hall with a day of performances focusing on the music of Gerald Barry and Cassandra Miller. Longtime Bozzini friends and collaborators, these composers have been a constant as the quartet has shaped and honed its unique approach to sound and style. Soprano Juliet Fraser joins the quartet for the London Premiere of the live version of Miller’s “Thanksong” after its online premiere at TimeSpans Festival New York in 2020. This day in the life of Quatuor Bozzini also includes pieces by Canadian composers Linda Catlin Smith, Tanya Tagaq, Michael Oesterle and Claude Vivier — music as dynamic and insightful as the quartet itself.
